Homer Hops Brewing is seeking a friendly Bartender who can deliver excellent customer service while effectively maintaining a clean and orderly bar. The ideal candidate will be quick on their feet, have a polite, hospitable attitude, and provide high-quality service.
 

Responsibilities

• Prepare bar with special attention to sanitation and order.

• ​Be able to maintain a friendly and positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.

• Answer questions and make recommendations that compliment guest’s orders.

• Be able to work well in a team environment.

• Work independently and make quick decisions.

• Issue bills and accept payment.

• Work closely with bar management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant guest experience.

• Ability to gauge the level of intoxication of guests to provide a safe environment.

• In addition to the tasting room, responsibilities include general cleaning, and restocking.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• TIPS certification is required.

• Ability to learn and utilize a restaurant POS software platform.

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We try to be as flexible with our staff schedule as possible.

• Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds and be on your feet for long periods of time.
